LEGAL / WEBSITE TERMS

Terms of Use.

These terms govern your use of this website. They are written to be read, not to be impenetrable, and they do not attempt to claim rights that would not hold up.

These are website terms. They are not a services agreement: any engagement with Aevrion is governed by its own written proposal, scope and contract, which take precedence over anything on this page.

01 / WHO OPERATES THIS WEBSITE

A sole proprietorship, operated by a named person.

LAST UPDATED / 22 AUGUST 2026

This website is operated by David John Perez, sole proprietor of Aevrion Ops.

Aevrion Ops is a sole proprietorship operated by David John Perez, with the Aevrion Ops business name registered with the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). The proprietor is the responsible operator of the business and of this website, and is the party accountable under these terms.

Operating location: Baguio City, Philippines. Aevrion works remotely and does not maintain public offices.

Contact for questions about these terms: hello@aevrionops.com.

02 / ACCEPTANCE

Using the website means these terms apply.

By accessing or using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, the appropriate response is not to use the website.

These terms may be updated as the website changes. The date above records when they were last revised, and continuing to use the website after a change means the revised terms apply to that use.

03 / PERMITTED USE

Read it, share it, evaluate it. Do not attack it.

You are welcome to read this website, quote it with attribution, link to it and use it to evaluate whether Aevrion is a fit for your work.

You agree not to:

  • DISRUPT THE SERVICE

Interfere with the website or the infrastructure serving it, including through excessive automated requests intended to degrade availability.

  • BYPASS CONTROLS

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, its endpoints or any connected system.

  • MISUSE THE INTAKE FORM

Submit false, abusive or unlawful content through the project-intake form, or use it to distribute unsolicited advertising.

  • MISREPRESENT AEVRION

Use Aevrion branding or content in a way that implies a partnership, endorsement or relationship that does not exist.

Security researchers acting in good faith are covered separately and more generously: see the responsible disclosure policy.

04 / INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The content is Aevrion's. Quoting it is fine.

The text, design, code and other material on this website are owned by the operator unless stated otherwise, and are protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Reasonable quotation with clear attribution and a link back is permitted and welcome. Republishing substantial portions as your own, or reproducing the design or code of this website, is not.

Any third-party names or marks referred to on this website belong to their respective owners. Reference to a product or platform does not imply any partnership, certification or endorsement.

05 / CONTENT IS INFORMATIONAL

Insights articles are professional opinion, not advice for your situation.

Everything published on this website — including Insights articles, service pages and explanatory material — is general information. It reflects how Aevrion thinks about these problems. It is not technical, legal, financial or business advice for your specific circumstances.

Decisions about your own systems depend on facts this website does not know. Nothing here should be treated as a recommendation to act without considering your own situation, and no engagement or duty of care arises from reading it.

Content is provided as it stands at the time of publication. Articles carry a publication date, and Aevrion does not undertake to keep every page current as circumstances change.

07 / AVAILABILITY

No uptime is promised for a marketing website.

This website is provided on an as-available basis. It may be unavailable during maintenance, infrastructure changes or events outside Aevrion's control, and pages may be added, changed or removed at any time.

No availability commitment is made for this website. Service levels for client work, where any apply, are agreed in the engagement contract for that work — not here.

08 / WARRANTIES + LIABILITY

Reasonable limits, and the rights the law does not let anyone exclude.

Aevrion takes care to keep this website accurate, but it is provided without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by applicable law. In particular, no warranty is given that the content is complete or error-free, or that it is suitable for any particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Aevrion is not liable for loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content — including indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where Philippine law, or another law that applies to you, provides rights that cannot be waived, those rights continue to apply regardless of anything on this page.

09 / PRIVACY

Handled separately, and in more detail.

How information you provide is handled is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. It describes what the intake form collects, who processes it, how long it is kept and how to raise a request about your own information.

10 / GOVERNING LAW

The laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts of the Philippines have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

This does not remove protections available to you under the mandatory law of the country where you live, where that law says it cannot be displaced by agreement.

11 / CONTACT

Questions about these terms.

Email hello@aevrionops.com, or use the project-intake form if your question is about working together rather than about this page.

These terms cover this website only. They do not define the scope, deliverables, payment terms, warranties or liability of any client engagement. Those are set out in the proposal and contract for that engagement, which take precedence over this page in the event of any conflict.
